Terms of Use

Triad · Last updated August 14, 2026

Welcome to Triad. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms. Please read the section on objectionable content carefully — we enforce it strictly.

Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior Triad has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Content that violates this policy is removed and the account responsible is suspended or permanently banned, typically within 24 hours of a report. There is no warning system for serious violations.

1. Who can use Triad

You must be at least 17 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you should have a parent or guardian's permission. You must provide accurate information and you are responsible for everything that happens under your account.

2. Objectionable content — what is prohibited

You may not post, send, or share any of the following anywhere in Triad, including prayer requests, testimonies, comments, group chats, direct messages, profile names, and avatars:

3. How we enforce this

By using Triad you agree that there is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users, and that we may remove content and terminate accounts to enforce this.

4. Triad is not therapy, medicine, or emergency care

Important Triad offers spiritual encouragement and community. Nothing in the app is diagnosis or treatment, and no part of it is a substitute for professional care.

Mentors on Triad are verified pastors and youth teachers offering spiritual guidance and mentorship. They are not licensed therapists or medical providers unless they separately state and prove otherwise, and Triad does not supervise the pastoral advice they give.

Triad cannot respond to emergencies. If you are in danger or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 (US Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), call 911, or contact your local emergency number.

5. Mentor accounts

Mentor accounts require an application reviewed by hand. Credentials and references are optional but strongly weighted, and we may contact anyone you list. Mentors agree to respond to subscribers in good faith, to keep what members share confidential, to never solicit payment outside Triad, and to never present themselves as licensed clinicians. Misrepresenting credentials results in immediate removal and forfeiture of pending payouts.

6. Subscriptions and payments

Mentor subscriptions pay for one-to-one mentorship: private messaging, voice notes, and voice or video calls with that specific mentor. Subscriptions renew monthly or yearly until cancelled, and you can cancel any time from your profile. Triad retains a 30% platform fee; 70% goes to the mentor. Payments are processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card number.

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription. Cancel first, then delete.

7. Your content

You keep ownership of what you write. You grant Triad a limited licence to store and display it for the purpose of operating the app. You can delete your content, or your entire account, at any time from Settings.

8. Ending your access

You may stop using Triad and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms, without refund where the violation is serious.

9. Disclaimers and liability

Triad is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Triad and its operators are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, or from advice or content provided by mentors or other members.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in the app, and continuing to use Triad after a change means you accept the updated terms.
